The celebrity animal activist plays the part of an airport security guard in Reno 911-style shorts. She strips down plane-bound passengers of fur, leather and animal skins in the newest PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) commercial, Cruelty Doesn’t Fly.
Ironically, the commercial—co-starring funnymen Steve-O and Andy Dick—may never get off the ground. It’s now banned in airports and on planes, according to the New York Post.

Gizmo’s first admirer happens to be a real dog. Holbein lives an artist loft and is named after Hans Holbein the Younger, court painter of Henry VIII. He’s only three months old, but he swears he can write, so we’re giving him a chance to be our first dogger (dog blogger). He’s growing up fast, so check back often.
This is one phone call you do not want to receive shortly after leaving your cat at the vet for a teeth cleaning:
“…we haven’t started the procedure yet, but the vet would like to speak with you about Gizmo’s blood work.”
My heart falls to the floor. I remain on hold for what seems like forever. In actuality, it was more like a minute.
I dropped Gizmo off at the clinic for a lion cut and teeth cleaning at 7:30 this morning. To begin with, I’m always nervous about her going under anethesia. (So is she. She was shaking when I left her.) Read more »
